Introduction: Mapping the Unmappable
Book 2 is complicated. Seventeen fragments floating in void. Six transformations happening across ninety days. 125 survivors scattered then gathered. The Ancient Fragment appearing Week 2.
How do you visualize that?
You can’t draw traditional map. There’s no geography. Just rocks floating in nothing with distances changing based on void-currents.
But you can map:
- Fragment relationships (which ones connect via void-ships)
- Transformation timeline (when each of The Six changes)
- Population distribution (where the 125 ended up)
- Survival progression (casualties over ninety days)
This is your visual guide to Book 2. Not traditional maps. Conceptual diagrams.
Because sometimes the best way to understand chaos is organized visualization.

Why this matters: Fragment 17 becomes transit hub. Survivors from Fragments 7-16 evacuate to Fragment 4 (Ronan’s domain—most stable). Fragment 17 enables that movement.
